The stainless steel aircraft cable and snap link are connected to the NFDD pull pin ring. The aircraft cable is protected inside the tube of the BP6000.
The BP6000 and components are all constructed of steel. Weight is 17lbs, length 70". Handles are resin coated which allows for a good firm grip by the NFDD operator. The top of the pole is powder coated for a long lasting durable finish.
The clamp hood assembly is interchangeable/removable due to the variety of NFDD currently on the market. Please specify make, model and diameter of the NFDD body when ordering. Stocked hood assemblies: CTS 7290 (large/small), Def Tech 25, NICO Pyro. and ALS Technologies. Special clamp and hood assemblies can be manufactured at your agencies request, special pricing may apply.
When deploying, the NFDD operator pulls the spring loaded t-handle located on the rear hand wheel thus allowing ignition of the NFDD. Ease of operation and durability - "Second to none"!
The hood has several glass breaker tips and a edge which will grab curtains/fabric. One twist of the hood while removing the NFDD from the opening, the edge of the hood will grab blinds/curtains on outward motion.
An additional T-Handle Allen Wrench Tool Holder may be purchased to mount a second tool holder inside SWAT/Raid vehicle. Easy installation: drill bit, pop rivets and instructions included.
T-Handle tool holder is mounted on the center shaft of the BP6000 and Bangstick.
